U.S. U-20 MNT Falls to Real Madrid Reserves in Spain
MADRID, Spain (Nov. 19, 2008) -- The U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team fell to the Real Madrid Reserves, 5-3 during the team's week-long training camp under head coach Thomas Rongen.

Real Madrid got on the board first with goals in the 14th and 20th minutes. But the U.S. battled back, as Jorge Flores cut Real's lead in half in the 27th minute and two minutes later a goal from Tristan Bowen leveled the score.

Real Madrid got their two-goal lead back before halftime though, as Alipio rounded out his first-half hat trick. Abdus Ibrahim got the U.S. back to within a goal, but 4-3 was as close as they would come.  A goal from Real Madrid's Rodriguez rounded out the scoring for the 5-3 final.
