OSI Develops Referee Flip Coin for U.S. Soccer Foundation
CHICAGO (Monday, March 19, 2001) - Official Sports International (OSI) has developed a one-of-a-kind referee flip coin to benefit the U.S. Soccer Foundation. In conjunction with U.S. Soccer, the OSI coin, known as the Foundation Flip Coin, is designed to express awareness and pride in U.S. Soccer's Referee Crest Logo. OSI is the official referee uniform supplier for U.S. Soccer. The historic referee logo is displayed in full color on the front of the coin, while the back is brushed in gold. The collector's piece measures 1 3/8" in diameter and supports the work of the U.S. Soccer Foundation, with all the proceeds from the sale of the coin supporting the Foundation's mission to enhance, assist and grow the sport of soccer. For more information about the Foundation Flip Coin log on to http://www.officialsports.com/.
