First Round of U.S. Open Cup Wraps Up as Eight Teams Advance  

CHICAGO - The first round of the U.S. Open Cup saw an USL-2 team fall to a USASA regional qualifier, a 35-yard own goal and a pair of games that saw each team score a goal in overtime. Mini-match reports are below.
