2006 National Referee Certification/Recertification

Referees who have submitted applications for the 2006 National Referee Certification/Recertification and Professional League Training Session to be held in Torrance, California from January 26-29, 2006, should check the attached list of referees approved for travel.  Applications are being reviewed as they arrive.   We still have a number of applications to check and will update this list periodically.

When your name is posted on this list, you can contact New Haven Travel to make your airline reservation.   Email is suggested: Jennifer (Jennifer@newhaventravel.com), Heide (heide@newhaventravel.com), Diane (diane@newhaventravel.com), Cheryl (cproto@newhaventravel.com) or Ronnie (Ronnie@newhaventravel.com).  The phone number there is 800-255-1994.  Plan to arrive at LAX before 4 PM on Thursday, January 26.  We will finish on Sunday shortly before noon, so do not make your return ticket for flights that leave LAX before 1:30 PM.  Please do not contact New Haven if your name does not appear on the list.

Remember, a medical release from your doctor must me in our office before you travel to camp.  If your doctor’s note is not in Chicago before that time, you will not be allowed to take the physical fitness test at the session and will be required to attend a regional professional clinic.   Anyone who does not take the physical fitness test at this session or does not pass the physical fitness test here will be charged the full amount of their airfare.

The list of referees approved for travel will be posted at ussoccer.com, on the Referee News and Announcement page, so you will be able to check there for updates.

Information about transportation between the airport and the hotel will be posted there at a later date.
