Development Academy Coaches Symposiums U.S. Soccer provides a variety of educational opportunities for Academy Coaches around U.S. National Team events. All Academy Coaches are invited to attend training sessions as well as pre-game and post-game seminars.

Development Academy Coaching Best Practice Seminars U.S. Soccer also provides annual Best Practice Seminars at the end of year meetings to be held in conjunction with Finals Week. Past presentations have included video analysis with Bob Bradley, discussions on the U-17 National Team Selection process with Wilmer Cabrera, technology presentations by Dartfish, World Cup Overviews by U-17 and U-20 staff members and many other presentations.
Coaches in attendance receive CEUs for their participation.

Development Academy Scouting Practicals U.S. Soccer provides opportunities for Academy Coaches to learn more about the scouting practice during Academy Showcase events. Coaches are instructed in the process employed by National Team coaches when they scout Academy games. CEUs are awarded to Academy Coaches who participate in this instruction.

CoachesNet All registered Academy Coaches will be automatically registered on U.S. Soccer’s CoachesNet. Available now through ussoccer.com, CoachesNet is devoted to educating its members on U.S. National Team coaching tactics by breaking down games at the highest level, analyzing training sessions and tactics and delving into the keys to preparation. In addition, the content found only on CoachesNet features exclusive videos, podcasts, diagrams and dissertations on everything from preparing for a particular opponent to putting together a roster to get the most out of an individual player.
