Approved Non-Academy Competitions
Academy Clubs are permitted to participate in certain approved competitions only during the following Academy windows:

December Window Approved Competitions:

• Nike Friendlies
• Raleigh Shootout

Christmas/New Year’s Window Approved Competitions:

• Disney Showcase

Easter Window Approved Competitions:

• Dallas Cup

Summer Window Approved Competitions:

• None

Applying for Academy Approval
Non-Academy Competitions can apply for Academy approval by submitting their information to academy@ussoccer.org. Applications will be reviewed by the Competition Committee based on the following criteria:

1. The date of competition
   The competition must fall within one of the designated Academy windows
   
2. The format of the competition.
   The tournament must comply with the accepted tournament format for Academy competition
   
3. The level of competition
   The level of competition must be similar or better than Academy competitions

Applications should address the above issues.
