U.S. TOPS CHINA, FINISHES SECOND AT PHILIPS LIGHTING INVITATIONAL

Alexa Orand scored in the finale.
The U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team rolled over China, 4-0, in the final match of the 2004 Philips Lighting U-19 Women's Soccer Invitational to claim second place behind tournament champion Japan, which drew 2-2 with Holland in the first match of the day. Angie Woznuk, playing in her first match of the competition, paced the USA with two goals while 16-year-old Alexa Orand added another goal and China knocked one into their own net.
