SANTIAGO, Chile (Dec. 8, 2008) - The U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team defeated Korea DPR 2-1 to win the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup on Sunday, Dec. 7, at Estadio Municipal in Santiago, Chile. The U.S. also came away with a boatload of awards, including the Golden Shoe and Golden Ball for Sydney Leroux and the Bronze Shoe and Silver Ball for Alex Morgan.
